March 29, Fineko/abc.az. The trend of growth of retail deposits in banks (with the exception of individuals engaged in entrepreneurial activity) continued in February, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

Last month, banks’ deposit portfolio increased by 4.4% (AZN 412.9 million) and made up AZN 9.869 bn. 55% of the savings portfolio (AZN 5.426 bn) are term deposits of individuals.

The dollarization of the retail deposits in February reduced by 0.6 percentage points compared with the beginning of the year and made up 40.4%.
