Banks' loan portfolio grew by 2% in February

March 29, Fineko/abc.az. The loan portfolio of Azerbaijan's banking sector increased by 2.1% (AZN 345.1 million) in February and amounted to AZN 17.126 bn.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan that the share of business loans in the banks’ total loan portfolio made up 58.2% (AZN 9.97 bn).

In February, 2/3 of the growth in the loan portfolio (AZN 226.3 million) accounted for the business portfolio.

The share of overdue loans in the total loan portfolio (including NBCOs and credit associations) made up 3.9%.

This indicator decreased by 0.2% compared with the indicator of the previous month and by 2.4% points compared to the indicator of the relevant term of 2021.
