March 18, Fineko/abc.az. The banking sector assets in Azerbaijan has grown slightly and exceeded AZN 38 bn.
ABC.AZ reports that this is stated in the Central Bank's overview indicators for 28 February 2022. As of 1 March 2022, banks had assets in the amount of AZN 38.48 bn.
The assets will amount to AZN 501.1 million, or an increase of 1.32%.
The growth in the volume of loans given to customers over the past month from AZN 16.78 bn to AZN 17.126 bn provided great support to the growth of the bank's assets.
