March 16, Fineko/abc.az. It is expected that the war between Russia and Ukraine will have a negative impact on the economy of Azerbaijan, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the statement of the World Bank.
According to the economists of the financial institute, this will manifest itself in potential market losses for the country's non-oil exports, outflow of major imported goods, inflation and loss of assets.
The World Bank notes that despite the relatively small volume of Azerbaijan's non-oil exports, Russia is the main destination of these exports, and in 2021 Russia accounted for 32% of non-oil exports or 4% of total exports (2.5% of GDP).
