February 28, Fineko/abc.az. The sale of dollars and euros has been suspended in the capital of Kazakhstan, Nursultan and Almaty.
ABC.AZ reports that according to the Kazakh press, currency exchange offices currently do not buy or sell euros and rubles.
These measures are temporary in nature, reflect the high degree of uncertainty and the need to minimize pressure from external geopolitical factors on the foreign exchange market and financial stability within the country, the country’s National Bank explained.
Today, Kazakhstan may also consider complete cessation of exchange-traded currency.
In Belarus, the euro rose in price by 4.78% and reached the level of 3.14 Belarusian rubles, the US dollar rose by 5.9%, its value – 2.80 Belarusian rubles.
