October 5, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has announced a vacancy for the position of the Head of the Intersectoral Legal Support Department of the Financial Markets Legal Support Department. Candidates for this position are required to have higher legal education, as well as at least 5 years of work experience as a lawyer in the financial or economic sector.

The person who holds this position will be required to participate in the normative activities of the Central Bank, carry out legal expertise of regulatory and methodological documents in such areas as combating the legalization of criminally acquired property and the financing of terrorism, market behavior, financial stability and sustainable development.

The main duties of the head of the department also include identifying legal conflicts and gaps in legislation in areas related to financial markets, preparing proposals and draft acts, providing opinions on incoming legal documents, providing legal support to control measures conducted in the subjects of control, and preparing relevant certificates.
