Azerbaijani banks’ interest expenses on deposits increased

February 23, Fineko/abc.az. The interest expenses of Azerbaijani banks on deposits have increased.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank that the banks paid deposit interests in the amount of AZN 33.1 million for January 2022 (against AZN 27.6 million in January 2021).

Banks' expenses on deposit interests totaled AZN 312.9 million in 2020 and AZN 362.3 million in 2021.
