February 17, Fineko/abc.az. "The Shusha Declaration will create new opportunities for cooperation in the economic sphere by strengthening the strategic partnership between the two fraternal countries," ABC.AZ reports, citing MP Vugar Bayramov.

He noted that the Shusha Declaration on Allied Relations signed by the presidents of Azerbaijan and Turkey, which will have historical significance for the countries, has been ratified by both states and already has full legal force: "Armenia's reaction was not long in coming. There are a lot of people in Yerevan who say that this cooperation will not be of any use. Although, talks about signing of a peace agreement with both countries are also ongoing in Armenia. The Declaration is important from angle of further deepening strategic relations between the two countries. This will create a basis for the development of economic and political relations between the parties in the long-term prospect. As for the economic side of the document, one of the most specific aspects of the declaration is the efforts to diversify national economies and exports. This means that the countries will provide mutual support to each other in economic and trade diversification. The fraternal countries have set a goal to increase trade turnover up to $15 bn in the next 3 years.”
