February 17, Fineko/abc.az. The amount of population’s deposits at banks grew by 13% in 2021, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank.

As of 1 January 2022, the figure reached AZN 9.24 bn. 59% of the retail deposits were made in national currency and 41% in foreign currency. Compared with the same period of 2020, the amount of deposits in national currency grew by 35.4% and in foreign currency declined by 8.7%.
