Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli production for 2021 published

February 10, Fineko/abc.az. bp has published a report on its activities in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ informs that last year the company continued installation work on the Eastern Azeri platform due to the fact that the ACE platform can receive electricity from other facilities at the Azeri field.

Currently, the work on the project is at the highest level, and 5,500 people are involved in it in Baku, Europe and the UK, most of whom are citizens of Azerbaijan.

In general, engineering and design, procurement and production and installation work on the project continues in accordance with the schedule for obtaining the first production from ACE in 2023. ACG total production in 2021 – from Chirag (27,000), Central Azeri (109,000), Western Azeri (116,000), Eastern Azeri (76,000), Deepwater Guneshli (86,000) and Western Chirag (44,000) platforms - averaged 458,000 barrels per day, or a total of about 167 million barrels, that is, 23 million tons. On 18 September, the ACG project reached 4 million barrels of total production from the field. At the end of the year, there were a total of 135 oil producing wells, 29 water injection wells and 8 gas injection wells on ACG.
