November 4, Fineko/abc.az. Over the first 3 quarters of 2021 more than $398 million of operating expenses and about $1.243 bn of capital expenditures were spent on oilfield block Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG).

ABC.AZ reports that total production from ACG for the first 3 quarters – from the Chirag (29,000), Central Azeri (109,000), Western Azeri (115,000), Eastern Azeri (77,000), Deepwater Guneshli (87,000) and Western Chirag (44,000) platforms - averaged 461,00 b/d, or a total of about 126 million barrels (17 million tons). 

On 18 September, the ACG project reached 4 billion barrels of total production from the field. By the end of the 3rd quarter ACG had 136 oil producing wells, 30 water injection wells and 8 gas injection wells.
