American payment system buys a Japanese company for $2.7 bn

September 8, Fineko/abc.az. PayPal will buy Japanese post-payment service Paidy for $2.7 bn.

PayPal payment system has agreed to buy Japanese company Paidy for 300 million yen ($2.7 bn).

Paidy provides services for the purchase of goods in installments. PayPal notes that it expects to conduct the transaction mainly in cash and close it in the period from October to December.
