September 8, Fineko/abc.az. The Ingleside Energy Center, the largest crude oil terminal in the United States and North America as a whole, has been sold.
ABC.AZ reports that the buyer is Canadian pipeline company Enbridge.
Within the $3 billion deal Enbridge bought both the oil terminal and pipelines laid from a range of domestic oil fields to the Gulf coast from American company Moda Midstream.
Enbridge is one of the largest Canadian pipeline companies and has the largest network in North America with more than 5,000 km of pipelines in the U.S. and Canada. The company also supplies 20% of the natural gas consumed in the U.S.
