September 3, Fineko/abc.az. The volume of securities transactions on the Baku Stock Exchange for the past 8 months of 2021 has become known.

ABC.AZ reports that for Jan-Aug 2021 the volume of operations amounted to AZN 10.69 bn (a rise of 49% in the total trading volume, 22% on trading on the primary market, 26% on trading on the government securities market and 324% in repo operations compared with Jan-Aug 2020).

The growth is linked mainly with the placement of securities on the state securities market of the Central Bank and the Ministry of Finance.
