February 8, Fineko/abc.az. Oil prices, which ended the past week at the highest in more than a year, keep on increasing this Monday.

By 9:41 am, at the London ICE Futures Exchange the price of April’s Brent crude oil futures grew by $0.62 (1.04%) up to $59.96 per barrel. At the end of trading on 5 February the Brent futures for April rose in price by $0.50 (0.9%) up to $59.34 per barrel.

By 9:41 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the price of March’s WTI oil futures grew by $0.63 (1.11%) up to $57.48 per barrel. At the end of trading on 5 February the WTI futures for March increaesd by $0.62 (1.1%) up to $56.85 per barrel.

Over the past week, Brent crude oil observed growth of 7.8% and WTI by 8.9%.
