February 4, Fineko/abc.az. Report "BP-Azerbaijan Business Operations 2020" has been published.

ABC.AZ reports that at the end of the past year 127 oil-producing wells, 45 water-injection wells and 8 gas-injection wells were operated on Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli. In 2020, 11 oil production wells and 2 water pumping wells were drilled at the ACG.

In 2020, ACG supplied SOCAR mainly through the Sangachal terminal, as well as the installation in the Neft Dashlari (Oil Rocks) on average 6 million cu m a day and a total of 2.2 bn cu m of associated gas. The remaining part of the extracted associated gas is pumped back into the reservoir to maintain the pressure.
