February 1, Fineko/abc.az. Today, President Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of the reconstructed 220/110/10-kV and newly-built 110/35/10-kV Khirdalan substation.

ABC.AZ reports that the head of state got acquainted with the conditions created at the Khirdalan substation.

It was reported that the 220/110/10-kV Khirdalan substation was completely reconstructed due to the end of its service life and the inability to meet the growing demand. This substation, which supplies 60% of the ring power supply in Baku, has a power transmission line at a distance of 108 km from the Yuzhnaya power plant in Shirvan. Then, President Aliyev launched a new 110/35/10-kV Khirdalan substation using the SCADA remote-controlled dispatch system.
