December 9, Fineko/abc.az. For Jan-Sept 2020 Azerbaijan withdrew investments for $22.7 million from Georgia, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the National Statistical Office of Georgia.

It was noted that investments for $13.9 million accounted for Jan-Mar 2020, $5.1 million for Apr-Jun, and $3.7 million for Jul–Sept.

Over the first 9 months of 2020 the volume of foreign direct investment in the Georgian economy decreased by 24% (versus 2019) to $719 million.
