Volume of securities transactions decreased more than by 12%

December 4, Fineko/abc.az. The total volume of securities transactions on the Baku Stock Exchange for Jan-Nov 2020 amounted to AZN 11.378 bn.

ABC.AZ reports that this is by 12.5% less versus Jan-Nov 2019.

For comparison, the total volume of securities transactions on the BSE over Jan-Nov 2019 amounted to AZN 13.5 bn.

"Thus, compared with the same term of 2019, the total volume of trade in the secondary market recorded 55%, on the corporate securities market - 90%, on repo operations – 83%, on the primary stock market – 132%, on the secondary stock market – 12% growth,” the Exchange said in a statement.
