Azerbaijan unveiled data on poultry meat and eggs for Jan-Sept

October 26, Fineko/abc.az. The poultry farms of Azerbaijan produced 51,800 tons of poultry meat in live weight over Jan-Sept 2020.

ABC.AZ was informed at the State Statistics Committee that the country produced 601.7 million eggs during this period.

In general, the number of hens in poultry farms amounted to 11.687 million versus 13.48 million hens for Jan-Sept 2019. On average, 151 eggs per hen were collected.
