Turkish lira rises in price – affected by rate increase

September 25, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Turkey raised the rate at the meeting on 24 September by 2 percentage points from 8.25% up to 10.25%.

ABC.AZ informs that after this decision, the dollar/Turkish lira (TL) exchange rate decreases.

Today, the Turkish lira has risen in price to the US dollar by 1.3%. Thus, the dollar exchange rate to the Turkish lira is 7.5134 TL.
