Central Bank sold $55.8 million to banks at a currency auction

September 10, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has conducted a currency auction with the participation of the State Oil Fund.

The CBA reports that it sold $55.8 million to banks today’s auction.

"The demand from banks at the currency auction amounted to $55.8 million and was fully met," the CBA said.

As a result of the auction, the weighted average exchange rate of the manat to the US dollar was AZN 1.70.
