August 17, Fineko/abc.az. The volume of investments from Azerbaijan in Georgia decreased in 2019 by 6.88 times in annual comparison and amounted to $35.79 million.

ABC.AZ reports that this is stated in the report of the National Statistics Office of Georgia.

In 2019 foreign direct investments in this country increased by $4.48 million or 0.3% (against a year earlier) up to $1.3 bn.

In 2018 this figure was $1.306 bn. In 2019 the European Union countries invested $656.317 million in Georgia, CIS countries $139.18 million, and international organizations $6.88 million.
