Central Bank sold $52.7 million to banks at a currency auction

June 9, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has conducted a currency auction with the participation of the State Oil Fund.

According to the CBA, $52.7 million was sold to banks in the currency auction on 9 June.

"The demand from banks at the currency auction amounted to $52.7 million and was fully met," the CBA said in a statement.

At the end of the auction the average weighted exchange rate of the manat to the dollar was AZN 1.70.
