June 5, Fineko/abc.az. The total volume of securities transactions on the Baku Stock Exchange amounted to AZN 3.843 bn for Jan-May 2020 versus AZN 6.242 bn for the 2019 same term. For comparison, for Jan-May 2020 the primary market of government securities (the Central Bank and the Ministry of Finance) observed a significant decline since last year.

Despite that, the total volume of trading on the secondary market made up 243% and on repo operations 122%.
