May 21, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has conducted a currency auction with the participation of the State Oil Fund.

According to the CBA, it sold $56.7 million to banks in the currency auction on 21 May.

"The demand from the banks at the currency auction amounted to $56.7 million and was fully met," the CBA said in a statement.

At the end of the auction the average weighted exchange rate of the manat to the dollar reached AZN 1.70.
