May 20, Fineko/abc.az. As of 1 May 2020 Azerbaijan registered 15,257 foreign investment commercial legal entities.

ABC.AZ was informed at the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy that 77.3% of registered foreign investment commercial legal entities are limited liability companies, 18.8% are representative offices or branches of foreign legal entities in Azerbaijan, 0.9% are joint-stock companies, 0.2% are cooperatives, and 2.8% are entities of other organizational and legal forms.

The number of commercial organizations with foreign investments registered for Jan-Apr is by 1.6 times more than for the relevant period of 2019.
