March 6, Fineko/abc.az. The total volume of securities transactions conducted at the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) exceeded AZN 1.095 bn for Jan-Feb 2020.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to BSE data, the volume of operations for the same period in 2019 amounted to AZN 2.726 bn.

Over Jan-Feb 2020 there was decrease in the volume of placement on the primary market of government securities (the Central Bank and the Ministry of Finance) compared with last year, and the total volume of trade on the secondary market recorded an increase of 174%, and REPO operations by 278%.

At the same time, capitalization of the BSE on the last trading day of February 2020 amounted to AZN 3.828 bn.
