March 3, Fineko/abc.az. Finance Minister Samir Sharifov paid a visit to Washington.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Ministry of Finance that the minister met with IMF Middle East & Central Asia Department’s head Jihad Azur and WB Vice-President Cyril Mueller. The sides covered the questions of further cooperation during the meeting.

Within the visit Sharifov also met with First Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Economic & Business Affairs and Co-Chair of the Azerbaijan-American Economic Partnership Commission, Peter Haas. The parties discussed the issues of holding the next session of the Intergovernmental Commission in Washington in the autumn of 2020 and other issues of mutual interest within the framework of economic cooperation.
