February 14, Fineko/abc.az. This January 15,707 local and foreign tourists were accommodated in hotels and hotel establishments of Gabala district.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the Regional Statistics Department, 9,905 or 63.1% of them are citizens of Azerbaijan and 5,802 or 36.9% are visitors from abroad.

In January 2020 the number of tourists staying in hotels increased by 4,619 people (41.6%) against January 2019.

The growth in the number of local tourists made up 85.5%.

The Statistics Department informs that this January the number of tourists from Saudi Arabia reached 1,837 and from the UAE - 1,300 people.
