Monetary base in Azerbaijan grew by 27.3% for past year

January 8, Fineko/abc.az. The monetary base totals AZN 12.15 bn in Azerbaijan as of 1 January 2020.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank that in December 2019 the monetary base increased by AZN 1.478 million or 13.8%.

By the end of 2018 the country’s monetary base reached AZN 9.545 bn. Last year the monetary base grew by 27.3%.
