On January 8, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan raised AZN 150 million in a deposit auction for banks.

"On 8 January the CBA held another deposit auction, which raised AZN 150 million. The offer at the auction made up AZN 678.9 million. The weighted average bid during the auction was 5.76%," the CBA said.

The funds were raised for the period of 28 days. At previous deposit auctions the funds were traditionally raised for 14 days.

The CBA started holding deposit auctions in June 2016.
