January 7, Fineko/abc.az. At the end of November 2019 the total amount of bank deposits of the Azerbaijani population amounted to AZN 8.682 bn. This figure is by AZN 609 million or 7.01% more versus the 2018 same term.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank that at the end of November 9.6% of all bank deposits in the country were in the districts of Azerbaijan. Over the reporting period 81.2% of deposits (AZN 702 million) in the districts were deposits in the national currency.

As of the end of November 2019 the volume of deposits in Baku amounted to AZN 7.847 bn. AZN 3.286 bn of them are invested in the national currency. In November 2019 the average annual deposit ratio in the country made up 3.7% and in Baku 3.6%.
