November 26, Fineko/abc.az. As of 1 October the loan portfolio of banks and other credit institutions of Azerbaijan in the national currency amounted to AZN 14.211 bn.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee, AZN 11.56 bn or 81.4% of the total loan portfolio are long-term loans. 97.6% of loans were given by banks, 2.4% by non-bank credit institutions and credit unions.
The amount of overdue loans reached AZN 1.447 bn and 10.2% of the total loan portfolio.
