November 22, Fineko/abc.az. Volume of goods transported through the Azerbaijani part of transport corridor Europe-Caucasus-Asia has been unveiled.

Over Jan-Sept the volume of transported goods via this route amounted to 38.762 million tons and cargo turnover 8.254 bn tons.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that 25.376 million tons or 65.5% of goods were carried by road, 9.66 million tons or 24.9% by rail, and 3.723 million tons or 9.6% by sea.

15.4% or 5.979 million tons of cargo transported through the corridor consisted of transit cargo.
