October 31, Fineko/abc.az. The number of salary cards grew by 172,000 for the first 9 months of 2019.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the Central Bank’s statistics that for the reported term the number of credit cards declined by 97,000.

At the end of this September the total number of payment cards amounted to 7.267 million in Azerbaijan. Compared with the end of August, the total number of payment cards for September grew by 58,000.

Compared with August, the number of salary cards in September increased by 30,000 up to 2.212 million, and the number of other debit cards, which are not salary and social cards, increased by 75,000 up to 1.638 million cards. The number of social cards reduced by 39,000 to 2.654 million and the quantity of credit cards by 8,000 to 763,000 cards.
