June 13, Fineko/abc.az. Insurers and insurance brokers may commence operations after obtaining special consent for the relevant types of insurance.

This point is covered in the general provisions of the Law on Insurance of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The provisions also say that the granting of a special permit for insurance activity, refusal to grant it, the procedure and conditions for temporary suspension and cancellation are determined by law.
