October 12, Fineko/abc.az. Gold kicked off the week on a positive note, driven by a weaker US dollar and falling crude oil prices. Spot gold advanced 0.3% to $4,206.01 per ounce, marking its highest level since October 2, while December US gold futures rose 0.3% to $4,230.40.

Among other precious metals, spot silver climbed to $61.12, platinum gained 1.0% to $1,704.70, and palladium rose 1.2% to $1,161.81.
