August 14, Fineko/abc.az. Iran intends to become a full member of the New Development Bank (NDB) established by the BRICS nations.

The statement was officially made by Abdolnaser Hemmati, the Governor of the Central Bank of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The New Development Bank was jointly founded in 2015 by Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa. Headquartered in Shanghai with an authorized capital of $100 billion, the institution primarily focuses on financing infrastructure and sustainable development projects across BRICS member states and other emerging economies.
