CBRT Releases Balance of Payments Data for June

August 13, Fineko/abc.az. According to the Central Bank of Turkey (CBRT), the current account deficit registered at $4.194 billion in June 2026. Excluding gold and energy, the current account recorded a $1.462 billion surplus. On an annualized basis, the current account deficit stood at $38.9 billion.

Net service revenues reached $6.851 billion (driven by $4.85B in travel and $2.59B in transport). Portfolio investments recorded a net inflow of $2.537 billion, while CBRT official reserves increased by $1.039 billion during the month.

In real estate transactions, non-residents bought $297 million worth of properties in Turkey, while Turkish residents acquired $248 million in overseas real estate.
