August 11, Fineko/abc.az. According to the State Tax Service, the number of active taxpayers in Azerbaijan grew by 3.4% since the beginning of the year, reaching 888,320 as of August 1, 2026.

Key Statistical Highlights:

• Active VAT Payers: Increased by 5.8% compared to the start of the year, totaling 61,805.

• Active Business Entities (Facilities): The number of registered active economic entities rose by 4.5% to 243,263.
