July 28, Fineko/abc.az. According to the infographics of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), for Jan-Jun 2026, the sector of life insurance savings (Həyatın yaşam sığortası) recorded a noticeable increase in both insurance premiums and payments.

Overall premiums for this type of insurance increased by 13.5%, or by 54.3 million manats, reaching 455.7 million manats against 401.4 million manats for Jan-Jun 2025.

The volume of insurance payments for term life insurance grew by 33.3% in annual terms, or by 99.4 million manats. As a result, the amount of payments increased from 298.1 million manats for Jan-Jun 2025 up to 397.5 million manats in the 1st half of 2026.
