July 28, Fineko/abc.az. According to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, for Jan-Jun 2026, country's insurance companies collected premiums for 34.9 million manats on voluntary motor vehicle insurance (CASCO) paid compensations for 19 million manats.

Compared with Jan-Jun 2025, CASCO premiums increased by 4%, or by 1.4 million manats, rising from 33.5 million up to 34.9 million manats.

At the same time, there was a significant increase on compensation payments for this type of insurance. In annual terms, insurance payments observed growth by 35.4%, or by 5 million manats, rising from 14 million up to 19 million manats.
