July 28, Fineko/abc.az. In Azerbaijan, 16 insurance companies gathered 867.396 million manats of premiums for the first 6 months of this year (6.2% more against Jan-Jun 2025).

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan informs that the amount of payments made by insurance companies totaled 549.682 million manats (27.2% more versus Jan-Jun 2025).

In the first 6 months of the year, for every 100 manats of insurance premiums collected in the insurance market, there were 63.4 manats of compensation payments. This figure reached 52.9 manats for Jan-Jun 2025.
