July 24, Fineko/abc.az. The U.S. administration is discussing plans with Venezuelan officials to unblock billions of dollars in frozen foreign assets to assist the country's recovery from devastating earthquakes, Bloomberg reports, citing sources familiar with the matter.
The initiative would allow Washington to support reconstruction efforts and assist Venezuelan authorities without allocating additional funds from the U.S. budget.
