US Imposes New Sanctions on Cuban Companies

June 24, Fineko/abc.az. On June 23, the US administration imposed sanctions against five Cuban companies.

According to ABC.AZ, this was announced by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

The restrictions targeted logistics, financial, mining, and industrial enterprises, including banks and a metallurgical company associated with the GAESA conglomerate.

US authorities warned that the sanctions could also impact foreign banks and companies cooperating with these entities. Washington stated its intention to maintain economic pressure on Cuba's financial system.
