June 22, Fineko/abc.az. The Russian Foreign Affairs Ministry stated that Armenia considers relations with Moscow as a tool for financing its reorientation towards the EU. In Moscow, such a "consumer approach" is considered unacceptable.

ABC.AZ informs that the reason was Yerevan's decision to begin the process of joining the EU.

The Russian Federation emphasizes that it is impossible to combine membership in the EU and the Eurasian Economic Union, and withdrawal from the Union may deprive Armenia of trade benefits, including low tariffs and duty-free import of goods.
