June 8, Fineko/abc.az. Robert Agee, Head of the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia (AmCham), shared his insights with the "Vedomosti" newspaper on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), highlighting potential areas of cooperation between Russian and US businesses in the space sector and data center infrastructure development.

ABC.AZ reports that, according to him, "the most logical partner for the US [in the space sector] is Russia."

"What is needed for data centers is cheap electricity and a favorable climate—and Russia has both," Agee stated.

He further noted that the advancement of bilateral cooperation, including business relations, could be a natural outcome of negotiation processes between Russia and the United States. He linked the potential interest in joint data center projects to Russia's abundant resources required to support such facilities.
