June 2, Fineko/abc.az. Within the framework of the Karabakh Project in the Caspian Sea, it is planned to create a new production facility with the use of pipeline bundle technology, a system combining several pipelines and control lines into a single protective structure.
ABC.AZ reports that Dan Sparks, BP's Vice President for Geology and Development in Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey, said this during panel discussions on the second day of the Baku Energy Week.
According to Sparks, energy projects contribute not only to resource extraction and infrastructure development, but also to the formation of long-term technical and human potential in the region.
"Within the Karabakh Project, an enterprise for production of underwater bundle systems will be created. This will be the second such facility in the world for the Caspian region. After the company is put into operation, it will be possible to implement any underwater connection projects using this technology, which will make them more flexible and efficient," he said.
