June 1, Fineko/abc.az. Within the Baku Energy Forum with the participation of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, a 15-year natural gas supply agreement was signed between SOCAR of Azerbaijan, BOTAŞ of Turkey, TotalEnergies of France and ADNOC of the EMIRATES.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to the Turkish Ministry of Energy, that the agreement envisages the supply of a total of 33 bcm of gas to the country starting in 2029.

The supplies will be carried out as part of new investments in production at Absheron field.

This contract will make significant contribution to ensuring the energy security of Turkey, the region and the whole of Europe.
